::2004 My Little Ponies::
Individual Ponies

For 2004, Hasbro seems to be bringing more innovative items into the market. You'll see some more names that were used with older pony lines, like Wingsong and Petal Blossom. Also, they've come up with some lovely, creative names like Wish-a-whirl, Aloha Pearl, Baby Bellaluna, etc.

Basic issues concerning these ponies:

• You will may hear them referred to as G3 or Generation 3 My Little Ponies. This is the third time Hasbro has released the MLP line.
• You may hear the new symbols referred to as Cutie Marks. This is the official name for symbols as given by Hasbro.
• There is a plastic stamp of the bottom of the pony's hoof; this stamp shows the new My Little Pony logo and conceals a magnet.
• Each pony has a heart shaped mark on one of the front legs. There are a couple of versions that have the hoof mark switched up from left to right leg.

::Easter Target Specials::

These three ponies feature soft pastel colors and have Spring and Easter-related themes. These were only available at Target Spring 2004 and come with a brush and special hat.

Dosey Dotes (earth pony) is purple with yellow hair. Her symbol is a pink and yellow butterfly-type insect. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is (-). She comes with brush and hat.

Spring Treat (earth pony) is pink with pink, white, and pale blue hair. Her symbol is three colored tulips inside an aqua rounded-clover shaped crest. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is white. She comes with brush and hat.

Toodleloo (earth pony) is yellow with pink and lavender hair. Her symbol is two Easter eggs sitting in the grass. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is green. She comes with brush and hat.

::Glitter Celebration Ponies::

These ponies feature tinsel in their hair and pearlised bodies. Each of the ponies come with a brush to style their beautiful hair and some come with special stickers. The 2003 versions did not come with stickers but with a ribbon and charm instead. Click here to see two different sets of stickers included with each pony. The stickers included comes with three sheets of identical stickers with varying themes. Also returned to this addition are Daisy Jo and Strawberry Swirl.

Beebop (earth pony) is light blue with white hair. Her symbol is a pink harp with two dark blue notes. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is pink. She has purple and pink swirling eyes with a blue heart highlight. She comes with a blue brush.

Bumblesweet (earth pony) is golden with light melon orange hair. She has iridescent tinsel strands in her mane and tail. Her symbol is three yellow and black bumblebees swarming around a yellow pot of honey. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is orange. She has green and orange striped eyes with a yellow heart highlight. She comes with golden brush (shown below).

Cinnamon Breeze (earth pony) is pink with dark pink hair. Her symbol is a tan cinnamon roll on a blue napkin with three wavy blue-and-white lines. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is dark pink. She has gold, pink, and brown swirling eyes with a pink dot highlight. She comes with a dark pink brush.

Piccolo

Serendipity (earth pony) is purple with purple hair. She has iridescent tinsel strands in her mane and tail. Her symbol is three green four-leaf clovers and pink flower accents. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is (-). She has green and yellow striped eyes with a lavender heart highlight. She comes with a brush and stickers (see stickers in link above).

Sunset Sweety (earth pony) is gold with light orange hair. Her symbol is a pair of orange and yellow flowers with green stems. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is orange. She has green and light-green swirling eyes with a pink heart highlight. She comes with a yellow brush.

::Jewel Ponies::

These ponies feature special jeweled symbols. The jewels are similar to the idea of the 80's Twinkle Eye Ponies, but the jewel is in the symbol not they eye. Each of the ponies come with a brush to style their beautiful hair.

Stardasher

Valenshy (earth pony) is pink with light pink, pink, and deep pink hair. Her symbol is a pink heart design with a center jewel. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is pink. Wondermint (earth pony) is white with lavender and bright purple-pink hair. Her symbol is a green tri-foil leaf design with a center jewel. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is mint green. She has light purple and purple swirling eyes with a pale bluish dot highlight. She comes with a white brush.

::Long Hair Ponies (with and without Baby Ponies)::

Each of these ponies comes packaged as a adult and baby set with accessories. Two of the sets are available exclusively at Toy 'R Us. Each comes packaged with a brush, tiara and two barrettes. Hasbro did not officially give them a set name, so I just used something I think collector's could easily identify the set.

In the scan of Aloha Pearl, I tried to show off the actual length of the hair, though it is slightly scrunched under the pony. Both her mane and tail measures about 8 inches.


Silly Sunshine (earth pony) is white with white, pink, and yellow hair. Her symbol is is purple flowers against a pink dot background. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is pink. She has purple, pink, and dark pink swirling eyes with a light pink heart highlight. Her body is matte, not pearlised.

Silly Sunshine comes with a pink crown or tiara, a green and pink flower-shaped barette with ribbon accents, and a white brush.

Silver Song (earth pony) is pink with dark purple-pink hair. Her symbol is a pair of yellow and orange masks surrounded by purple music notes. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is purple. She has yellow and orange swirling eyes with a pink star highlight.

Silver Song comes with a purple crown or tiara, a pink and purple star-shaped barette with ribbon accents, and a pink brush.

Aloha Pearl and Baby Bellaluna Set

Aloha Pearl (earth pony) is white with orange and pink hair with iridescent tinsel. Her symbol is a pink hibiscus flower with colorful accents. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is pink and is shown on her non-display side. Her eyes are two shade of blue with a tiny pink heart-shaped highlight. Her body is matte, not pearlised.
Baby Bellaluna (earth pony) is blue with a pink and white mane and tail. She has iridescent tinsel in both her mane and tail. Her symbol is a pink baby bottle and a pink rattle set atop a yellow flower-shaped accent. Her hoof mark is purple. Her eyes are purple and pink with a yellow circular-shaped highlight. Her body is pearlised.

Wingsong and Baby Goody Gumdrop Set

Wingsong (earth pony) is purple with yellow hair and a pearlised body. Her symbol is a pink and yellow butterfly shown at profile view. Her eyes are purple.
Baby Goody Gumdrop (earth pony) is white with a purple mane and tail (with iridescent tinsel). Her symbol is pink and yellow gumdrops set on a pink flower-shaped accent. Her hoof mark is purple. Her eyes are two shades of green with a pink highlight.

Petal Blossom and Baby Set
Petal Blossom (earth pony) is deep purple with dark pink hair with tinsel. Her symbol is pink daisies with green stems. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is white. Her eyes are blue and yellow.
Baby (earth pony) is green with a light pink mane and magenta tail (with tinsel). She has pink and mint green eyes. Her symbol is a small group of pink flowers. She is unnamed.

Accessories include: a pink crown for Petal Blossom, a lavender brush, and two flower-shaped hair clips with strands of ribbon hanging down.

Rainbow Flash and Baby Set
Rainbow Flash (earth pony) is carnation pink with yellow, pink, orange and purple hair. Her symbol is a sun, cloud, and rainbow. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is green. She has pink eyes with a highlight. She comes with a crown accessory. Other accessories are unknown at this time.

Baby (earth pony) is purple with pink, orange, and white hair. She has pink and purple eyes. Her eyes are rainbow striped. Her symbol is a small group of orange, white, and pink flowers. She is unnamed.

Accessories include: a bright purple crown for Rainbow Flash, a pink brush, and two flower-shaped hair clips with strands of ribbon hanging down.

So and Sew (earth pony) is orange with pink, lavender, and white hair. Her symbol is a pink button with four mint green hearts perpendicular from each other. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is mint green. She has mint green and purple swirling eyes with a light lavender heart highlight. She comes with a brush and stickers (see above link).

Toola Roola (earth pony) is purple with white, lavender, and aqua hair. Her symbol is three aqua swirls adjoining with three bluish-lavender heart accents. Her heart-shaped hoof mark is the same bluish-lavender in the hearts on her symbol. She has aqua and purple swirling eyes with a light pink heart highlight. Her hair is wavy. She comes with a lavender comb (has hints of a pink color) and stickers (see above link).

::Sparkle Ponies::

These ponies feature glitter sparkled along their foreheads and symbols. Each of the ponies come with a brush to style their beautiful hair.
