Babies (Earth Ponies)

Baby Earth Ponies are 1.5 to about 4 inches tall and have no horn or wings. This ID section includes standard babies, newborns and Teeny Tiny Ponies. This is the largest baby section, much larger than the Unicorns or Pegasus.

Which describes your baby pony?

• She has a single tooth in her mouth. See example below.
• She has three white freckles on her nose.
• Pink freckles on cheeks (U. K. and European exclusives; See Playschool Baby Ponies)
• She has eyes that open and close.
• He has feathered hooves (molded with fluff, like a Clysdale's hooves instead of smooth). See example right.
• Painted on diaper instead of symbol. If your baby is a very deep purple and has a cat and hearts symbol decorating her diaper, then she is part of the Mommy and Baby Pony set (mail order only) instead of the above link.
• She has a clear, glitter filled body.
• She has a molded leotard and ballet slippers.
• She has a round hole underneath her tail.
• She has three vertical stripes in her mane and tail. See example right.
• She has tinsel in her hair.
• She is only 1.5 inches high and has a nearly flattened nose. See photograph example, below right.
• She has a completely pearlized body (even eyes have a pearlized glaze) (Mail order only).
• She has horizontal stripes in her mane and tail (See Family Friends and Family Babies).
• She has none of the above features.

Single Tooth in her mouth:

• Duck carrying umbrella symbol.
• Tic-tac-toe symbol.
• Ice cream cones symbol.
• Two purple poodles (often mistaken for other things) (blue body, white hair with a pink streak in mane). See example.
• Doll symbol (Pink body, dark pink mane).
• Two pink pineapples.
• Pink heart with arrow through it (Purple body, pink hair; Mail Order only).
• Teapot and Teacup
• Three night caps or sleeping caps (yellow body, purple hair). See example.
• Symbols covering both hips, instead of a single symbol (with either strawberries or hearts strung across hips) (Mail Order only).

Three White Freckles on Nose:

• White dots symbol, all pink body.
• Three white flowers symbol; purple body; white hair.
• Pink rattle symbol; aqua-greenish body with pink hair.
• White bib (with blue heart accent inside) symbol with a lavender-ish pink body and pink hair.
• White and red sailboat symbol (Mail order only).
• Red cherries symbol. (German exclusive. See Baby Ponies (German), Cherries Jubilee).
• Hopscotch symbol. (German exclusive. See Baby Ponies (German), Baby Hopscotch).
• Purple drops. (Yellow body, purple hair. German exclusive. See Baby Ponies (German), Baby Lemondrop).
• Ice Cream Cones. (Lavender/pinkish body and hair. See Baby Pony Play 'n Care Sets, Baby Lickety-Split).

Eyes that open and close:

• White body, pink hair; symbol is a circular pattern of hearts.
• Ballet slippers symbol (lavender body, aqua hair).
• White bib (with blue heart accent inside) symbol with a lavender-ish pink body and pink hair.
• Pink rattle symbol; aqua-greenish body with pink hair.
• White body, blue hair; pink and purple bear symbol (may be difficult to see due to fading).
• Is not one of the five listed above. Symbols of the Beddy-Bye Eyes Baby Ponies include: ice cream cones, sunglasses, a single white ribbon, hot-air balloon, three pink hearts, or three green leaves (may be faded).

Tinsel in hair:

• White pony with planets symbol (U. K. and European exclusive; See Baby Starlight Ponies).
• Orange pony with yellow hair and stars and rings symbol (U. K. and European exclusive;See Baby Starlight Ponies).
• A blue, pink, or white pony with a jewel symbol (U. K. and European exclusive; See Jewellrey Baby Ponies).
• A gold star on forehead and castle symbol.

She is only 1.5 inches high and has a nearly flattened nose:

• A tiny symbol on either her leg or her cheek. Symbols for twins include: flower, large purple rattle, or baby booties.
• She does not have a tiny symbol on her leg or cheek. Symbols include: a teddy bear, building blocks, baby bottle, or blue rattle.

He has feathered hooves:

They are fluffy like a Clysdale's hooves instead of smooth. These babies are all male, but not all male ponies have feathered hooves. There are several that have chubby bodies and smooth hooves. They are listed with the regular ponies above.
