Year 1 Accessories (1983) (U. S.)

From 1981 to 1982, My Little Pony was officially born. In 1981, the My Pretty Pony line initially began the wheels of motion for My Little Pony. More information about the first line and for the Original Prototype Sketches show how MLP evolved. The first ponies, shown below, were amazing similar to My Pretty Pony. Both have the same rigid form and style. However, Hasbro gave these ponies pretty colors and symbols, which was a good move for them, making My Little Pony an instant success.
About Peachy: I believe that she was sold Internationally as well as in the U. S., though I can't pinpoint the countries. She was sold in stores, but I have have no other related details. She could have possibly been sold in 1982 instead of 1983.
Pretty Parlor with Peachy (Flat Foot) and Sprinkles

As far as it is known, the Pretty Parlor with Flat
Foot Peachy came with the same accessories as the standard edition. See
above playset for more information on the actual playset and accessories.
Peachy (earth
pony) is peach with pink hair and
pink hearts.
She is basically the same pony as the regular CF version, with the colors and
symbols. Her feet are completely flat, like the Flat Footed Collector
Ponies. She is the only other pony know to have flat feet aside from the 6
Collector Ponies.
I believe that she was sold Internationally as well as in the
U. S., though I can't pinpoint the countries. She was sold in stores, but
I have have no other related details. She could have possibly been sold in 1982
instead of 1983.

There is also
a Concave Foot version of Peachy which is much more common. There are many, many International
and alternate versions of Peachy (please note that the hyperlink will take
you into the main International page, you will have to scroll down and look for
the different versions of Peachy; she's in more than one place). The most common
variation in the U. S. is the Mail
Order version of Peachy.
As far as her release date, I have no proof that she was
released this year, but it does seem probably since she is very, very
rare. There are several factors that support this: several
collector's claim that they bought her in stores, several collector's claim that
she was released in an early date (perhaps 82 or 83), she is very hard to find
in the U. S. and abroad. I can only speculate that she was released this
year or 1983 at the latest; its more probable she was released this year.
