1980's International My Little Ponies
Alternate Ponies--Color Variations only (A-L)

There are also various Argentinean and Brazilian or Greek ponies that may look like alternate ponies.  Please also check these sections if you can't find what you are looking for here.

Baby Fancy Pants Ponies (UK and Europe)

The Baby Fancy Pants came out in the United Kingdom and other places with a different look than the U. S. Baby Fancy Pants.  Baby Splashes and Starburst have the most noticeable differences; although some of the others also have slight differences.  These versions have China stamped onto the hoof; the U. S. versions have Thailand stamped on the hoof.

Baby Splashes
(earth pony) is yellow with pink hair (instead of deep purple)  and a blue forelock.  Her symbol is a white diaper with blue birds on it.

Baby Starburst (earth pony) is pink with blue hair and a yellow streak and her symbol is blue and dark pink moons and stars.  Her U. S. version does not have a yellow forelock or dark pink moons or stars (stars and moons are yellow in U. S. version).

Baby Starbow (UK and Europe) (earth pony) is white with pink, yellow and purple hair and a rainbow symbol.  She is a Baby Rainbow Pony, they were sold in the U. S. in Year 9.  The U. S. version has distinctly blue hair, while this version has a rich purple color.

Birthflower Ponies
(earth ponies) varied greatly in other countries.  They retained the Collector Pony mold.  All have vast color changes in their symbols.  These symbols are more ornate and multi-colored.  American versions were a single color.  The foreign versions also varied in color, body and hair.
