1992-1993 International My Little Ponies (F-Z)

Family Friends & Family Babies

This is a later set of ponies similar to the Loving Family Ponies released in the 1980's, being that they were intended to be family.  Ironically, despite their family togetherness, they were sold separately.  All of the babies are female, unlike the Loving Family Ponies which mixed both male and female siblings.

The Family Friends and Family Babies are a unique set that are like virtually no other ponies sold in stores.  They have tri-colored hair that runs down in horizontal stripes (instead of the standard vertical stripes).  They are all earth ponies, and all babies are girls.

Related Ponies:  Aside from the the only set closely related are the U. S. Mail Order Ponies, the Pretty Mane Ponies.  The similarity is that both sets have horizontal striping in their manes.
