1997 U. S. My Little
Ponies
After the closing years of MLP, Hasbro finally brought back
the line of My Little Pony with a new logo and a new style. The small, slender type ponies focused on a new age of
children. Some collector's like the new style and some do not like it at
all.
Notation: As always, some of the ponies pictured here were also sold in
foreign countries, but will ponies sold both in the U. S. and foreign will be
listed under U. S. only.
MLP New Pony Petites
These are some of my personal favorites of the
newer release of ponies because they have retained the old petite pony
mold. These are very rare, and pretty hard to find.

your a big petite collector you must visit this site.
Magic Motion Friends
Ivy is light blue with a pink with a purple streak and and a pink
tail purple ivy.
She comes
with a purple gate that has a rainbow over it with a pink
butterfly. There is also a purple chest, blue comb. She also has a blue ring and a purple tiara shaped like leaves
and blue tiered earrings. Her head turns and lifts her leg.
Sundance is pink with purple hair and a yellow streak and a purple
tail. She has a yellow sun symbol. She
comes with a
blue gate with a rainbow over it with a blue butterfly. There is also a
pink flower vanity that opens. Her other accessories include three yellow flower barrettes and a yellow flower comb.
Her head turns and her tail swishes.
Each of these ponies came with a
mane that is two colors and a single colored tail.
Pony Garden Playcase
Pony Garden Playcase is a large carrying case for ponies. When closed, it
makes a purple case with a yellow floral handle. When opened, it shows three sections
and becomes a garden. It is multicolored and covered in various
stickers. Accessories include a picnic basket with a pie inside, apples, and
butterfly.

Pony Magic Playset: Canopy Bed with
Light Heart
Light Heart is white with orange and pink and lavender mane and
tail. Her
symbol is pink and orange hearts and dots. She has pink feet and is fully
bendable. She has a bead like button on her tail; when it is pressed she wake's
up.
The Canopy Bed has a pink headboard and base, colorful pink flowers and
green leaves spotted about it, and a cloud canopy with a rainbow.
Accessories to the set
also includes a green flower comb and a yellow blanket (both pictured
right). A close up of the bed, accessories, and Light Heart is pictured

Seabreeze: Mail Order Only
Seabreeze is aqua with a pink mane and a purple tail. Her symbol is a
dark aqua wave. She came with a blue berry comb. She was available by mail
order only.

comb.
Secret Surprise Friends
Berry Bright is dark orange with yellow hair and a purple bunch of grapes
as her symbol. She comes with a basket that contains bunches of grapes with green ribbons.
She has a pink comb with leaves.
Clever Clover is purple with purple & blue hair and three aqua clovers. 
He comes with a pinkish cap with a blue clover and has pink sunglasses. Clever Clover comes with glittery clover
stickers, and also he has a blue clover comb. **Thanks to Moonshadow
for the close up shot pictured right.
Petal Blossom is purple with pink hair and flowers and leaves.
She comes
with a yellow hat with an aqua braid. She has and aqua comb with
berries on it.
Morning Glory is pink with purple hair and blue flowers and leaves. 
She comes with a yellow back pack. She has a blue flower comb.
Sky Skimmer is yellow with pink hair and a pink butterfly. She comes with two butterflies, four bracelets,
and her comb is pink
and shaped like a flower.
These were the first set of new ponies to come out. They also had bendable
heads.
