Petite Pony International--Rares and Variations

The Petite Ponies were produced by Hasbro in Years 8 and 9.  They are miniature My Little Ponies in an array of poses and colors.  Some had brush-able tails, some glowed in the dark, and some even sparkled.  They also came with different pony places.  This listing includes American petites and International petites and play sets.
Big, Big thanks to Melissa for letting me use her rare pictures for this site, you can check her site, the Petite Pocket.  This is a beautifully constructed, very thorough site about Petite MLP's.  If your a big petite collector you must visit this site.  She knows more about petites than anyone else.   All photos on this page are hers;  her property is only usable with her permission, so do not take them.
Also, A big thanks to D. S. Scully for use of the petites with the pony embossed bottoms .  You can visit her site at D. S. Scully's Pony Files to see more pony variants.  She reserves all copyrights of the donated material.

MLP New Pony Petites

Here are four petites from the new releases of My Little Pony (1997-1999). These are some of my personal favorites of the newer release of ponies because they have retained the old petite pony mold.  These are very rare, and pretty hard to find.  Please note:  These are also listed under 1997 new ponies.

Sunsparkle Ponies (variations)

Denmark Ponytail Ponies

These Petites look a lot like the Denmark set above; I am going to venture to say that they are the same set.

Pictured Upper Right is a common Petite sold abroad; she has a standard hoof mark underneath.  The Hoofmark is the common Petite ensignia; however, the beauties below have ponies embossed on their bottoms.

Playset Petite Variations

Whirly: In half rear pose instead of chest pose.  She came with the Carousel.

Sundrop:  white with yellow hair and purple crown.  She varies from her American version in that she is not a ponytail pony.
