::My Little Bunny:: :::My Little Kitty:: ::My Little Puppy::

As advertised by Hasbro My Little Bunny, Kitty, and Puppy sets were from...from My Little Ponyland.  They had a brief run, being produced only in 1990-1991, in Year 9. Each consisted of a mother with a so soft feel, and two molded plastic babies. They also each came with a comb, some were exclusive only to this line. These friends were given the same priority as Dream Beauties or Plushes, being invoked into the My Little Pony family.

There were two editions of the sets, first were the Li'l Litters, and secondly, the Nursery Families. The Li'l Litters are easier to find than the Nursery Families, however, neither sets are common. My Little Bunnies only came with one edition, the L'il Litters versions.

These are not the only friend types to be sold with the My Little Pony lines. Many play sets came with kitty and puppy friends, as well as a variety of other animal types. For a list of these other friends, click here. Internationally, there were replicas to the My Little Puppy, Kitty, and Bunny babies, from the Best Friends series. A friend example will be listed under each individual section.

Basic Stats:
1. They advertised as being from "My Little Ponyland".
2. They were first issued in Year 9, 1990.
3. Each came package with one adult, two babies, and an accessory or accessories.

5. The Li'l Litters series came first. Each came a single comb or brush.
6. Afterwards followed the Nursery families with came with a comb or brush and several other accessories.
7. There are a total of 54, including mothers and babies.

My Little Bunny only made one appearance in Ponyland; Only four sets were produced. Each set has two babies, so it totals 12 bunnies altogether (four adults, eight babies). Each was set in pastel colors. Each also came with a butterfly brush.

The adult bunnies have a sort of velvet fur covering there bodies, much like the So Soft Ponies. They also have a tuft of actual hair and a furry bunny tail. Each has either lop-ears or straight-ears and a pink nose. The baby bunnies are molded plastic and came in various colors. They can be difficult to tell from one another, especially the pink and blue (including aqua green) versions.

Internationally, a bunny baby was sold in the Best Friends set. Click here to see the bunny that came with Baby Billie and Bunny.

There are two issues of the My Little Kitty sets, this is the first. The second, Nursery Families, came with various accessories. The sets are unique, each cat following a particular breed of animal. Each also came with an exclusive cat brush (See the Mint in Package section for an example).

The adult cats have a sort of velvet fur covering their bodies, much like the So Soft Ponies. They also have furry, puffy tails. They came in a variety of colors, and unlike the My Little Bunny issues, they were multi-colored. The baby kittens are molded plastic and came in various colors. Each baby has a color scheme that matches its mother. They can be difficult to tell from one another, though much easier than the bunny set. Also, eye color for the babies became a standard dark blue, instead of various colors.

Pictured right is an example of the kitten brush that came with the families; this brush is exclusive only to them. Also, thanks to Iris for use of this photograph.

Cutie Calico is golden yellow with a white chest, nose, ears (inside) and paws. She has aqua eyes, a pink nose, and a golden yellow tail.  One kitten is yellow (waving) with a white chest and white accents. The second kitten is completely white (sitting).  She came with a light pink brush with two kittens playing on it.
Oddly, it looks like Cutie Calico should be Precious Persian, and visa versa. However, Hasbro, choose the long hair to be the Calico and for the short hair version to be Persian. The information I have listed is correct, for both Cutie Calico and Precious Persian, even though it may appear out of place.

Dreamy Siamese is pink with purple accents (around feet, face, and inside ears). Her purple accents may appear grayish or have a gray tint. She has a purple tail, pink nose, and blue eyes. Her kittens are colored in the same manner as she is. One kitten is waving and the other kitten is sleeping. She came with a dark pink brush with two kittens playing on it.
Happy Tabby has a white body with purple stripes. She has a white tail, pink nose, and pale green eyes.   Her first baby is white with purple stripes (like her mother) and is sleeping. Her second baby is purple with white stripes (sitting).  She came with a blue brush with two kittens playing on it.
Precious Persian is a pinkish-purple color with a white chest and white accents (chest, paws, face, and inside ears). She has a blue tail, pink nose, and has green eyes. One of her babies is completely pink (sleeping) and the other is blue (waving).  Their comb is yellow, two kitties playing.
