:::My Little Kitty:: ::My Little Puppy::

As advertised by Hasbro My Little Bunny, Kitty, and Puppy sets were from...from My Little Ponyland.  They had a brief run, being produced only in 1991, in Year 9. Each consisted of a mother with a so soft feel, and two molded plastic babies. They also each came with a comb, some were exclusive only to this line. These friends were given the same priority as Dream Beauties or Plushes, being invoked into the My Little Pony family.

There were two editions of the sets, first were the Li'l Litters, and secondly, the Nursery Families. The Li'l Litters are easier to find than the Nursery Families, however, neither sets are common. My Little Bunnies only came with one edition, the L'il Litters versions.

These are not the only friend types to be sold with the My Little Pony lines. Many playsets came with kitty and puppy friends, as well as a variety of other animal types. For a list of these other friends, click here. Internationally, there were replicas to the My Little Puppy, Kitty, and Bunny babies, from the Best Friends series. A friend example will be listed under each individual section.

The sets below are similar to the some of the Li'l Litters versions, please be careful not to confuse the two sets.

There are two issues of the My Little Kitty sets, this is the first. The second, Nursery Families, came with various accessories. The sets are unique, each cat following a particular breed of animal.

The adult cats have a sort of velvet fur covering their bodies, much like the So Soft Ponies. They also have furry, puffy tails. They came in a variety of colors, and unlike the My Little Bunny issues, they were multi-colored. The baby kittens are molded plastic and came in various colors. Each baby has a color scheme that matches its mother. They can be difficult to tell from one another, though much easier than the bunny set. Also, eye color for the babies became a standard dark blue, instead of various colors.

Internationally, a kitten was sold in the Best Friends set. Click here to see the kitten that came with Baby Katie and Kitty.
