Debut and Status:  
    This was the second and only other My Little Pony special to air in the U. S.  It aired in 1985, before the making of the My Little Pony Movie.  This was also a two part episode.  It was later put on VHS. 
       There is also an alternate spelling of the special's title that is spelled differently, "Escape from Katrina".
