Birthday Ponies
a.k.a. Alternate Birthflower Ponies
The Birthflower ponies were special ponies to commemorate each birth month. You will hear them referred to by flower, like Rose or Water Lily. You may also hear them referred to by month, June or July. The U. S. versions were mail order exclusives. The alternate birthflower Ponies varied greatly in contrast to their white-bodied, pink-haired counterparts. They retained the Collector Pony mold. All have vast color changes and colored symbols. The origin of these ponies, Denmark, Scandinavia, and Australia.
Carnation (January) is pale
yellow with pink hair and. Her symbol is a single pink carnation with a green

Violet (February) is violet with aqua hair. Her symbol is a purple
violet with a dark green stem. Her eyes are aqua. Her Danish name is Stedmoder.

Daffodil (March) is white with blue hair. Her symbol is a single yellow
daffodil with a green stem. Her eyes are blue (matching her hair). Thanks

Daisy (April) is pink with golden yellow hair. Her symbol is
a yellow daisy symbol with a green stem. Her eyes are blue. Her Danish name

Lily of the Valley (May) is green with golden yellow hair.
Her symbol is a white Lily of the Valley with a green stem. Her eyes are blue.

Rose (June) is all pink with a pink
rose with a green stem symbol. Her eyes are blue.

Water Lily (July) is yellow with red hair. Her symbol is an orange water
lily and green lilies. Her eyes are blue.

Poppy (August) is completely blue. Her symbol is a white poppy with

Morning Glory (September) is mint green with white hair and a
blue morning glory and green stem symbol. Her eyes are blue.

Cosmos (October) is all yellow with a yellow flower with a green

Chrysanthemum (November) is pink with
dark pink hair. Her symbol is a yellow chrysanthemum with green stem. Her eyes
